The owners of The Rink on 87th are now the new owners of Glenwood Roller Rink. That was a smart move to make. Whenever the doors to a new facility open, the entire city’s customer pattern is affected.

The session attendance could plummet. JBSKATE nights at The Rink saw a rise in customer volume as a direct result of Glenwood’s closing. The community has a relationship with the owners and they are present. So, that aline could have an effect on the community and skaters may begin to start skating more.

Doubters may begin to realize that skating is not dead and nor will it ever die. The regulars in the skate community have a natural resilience to negative forces getting in the way of our skating.
