I started preparing some new songs towards the end of last year. They’ve been sitting in their folders for some months now. Building the JBGODS Rose Award and the team staff has been my primary point of attention this year. This may last for years and months forward.

The future of JBGODS is elevating. A new level of commitments is under way and the team will be required to match it. Pharaoh is leading the Gods towards crowed gathering events where danger is a constant factor. Some will accept this call to risk and reward. Others may not at all be interested and that’s ok. The Gods are doing more this year and they are starting now.

Every now and then someone asks me how to do a certain move or trick on skates. My number one answer is time. It takes time to get the moves that you want. You have to repeat them a thousand times in order to learn and master every aspect of the technique that you are attempting.

Pharaoh was in Memphis again folks. It’s not often that I am in Memphis but when I do visit, I know exactly where I’m going. You’d think that I would go directly for some Memphis style barbecue but that’s not really my style. I’m actually a bigger fan of vegetables than meat. I could go months without even craving meat. However, back on the subject, I have to visit this little Mexican food restaurant on Airways. They keep a deli inside of their store. They also have their own security there, which makes me uncomfortable. The store is only two rooms and he follows me into both of them. I wanted to say to him, do I really look like I need to steal?? Come on.
Where y’all skating at out here?? The next time that I come, I’m going to make the effort to visit one of the sessions. It will be an interesting experience because I don’t like to skate to anything except JB. I really don’t even do the slow jams all that much.
