Structure In The Skate World

We have a lot of structure in the skate world. Skateboarding the largest and most organized skate discipline in the world next to figure skating. The conversation of skating on this website primarily applies to skaters on wheels. We need more structure and more recognition to further develop our discipline. It’s happening as we speak. Many of us are putting in the work to turn our hobby into real jobs.

Artistic Staff In Paris

We are talking to our first group of potential staff in Paris. This may be my newest most difficult task ever. A lot of these conversations are completely in French and that is tough. I had to try really hard not to lose them with my terrible French grammar.

For those who are interested working for JBGODS in Paris, it’s important for you to know that I move quickly. You have to give me a yes or a no when I extend an offer for employment. An “I don’t know” sounds like “no” to me and I will quickly move to the next qualified applicant.

The Roses Have Arrived

Our first annual JBGODS Rose Awards show is coming to Chicago in about two more weeks and the roses are here. We’ve got our stage roses that nominees will use to accept their wins. These stage roses don’t belong to the winners, not yet. After winners are chosen, they will get their own individual awards either sent to their homes or to JBGODS Headquarters.

Moving Westward

We are preparing to continue our expansion by moving westward. I’ve always had my eyes on Los Angeles. After much thought and planning, we have decided to move forward with a location in Los Angeles. Soon, JBGODS will have a regional location in Los Angeles. This will serve as the corporate support for our clients, athletes and staff on the west coast.

Should We Have Skate Positions

Think of the difference the skate positions would make in JBSKATING. First off, we would have a new found sense of order. Moving on the skate floor would be much more predictable when you know the next skater’s position.

Why Skating Rinks Need Pharaoh

Skating rinks need Pharaoh because I can see problems and I can offer solutions. These solutions may come in the form of a suggestion or in the form of a product.

Does Your Boot Matter

Of course your boot matters. Half of JBSKATING is the type of gear that you wear. It affects your capabilities. I saw this as a question in an article today and I disagreed with the heading immediately.

On The Maps

We are now on the maps, Google Maps. With an easy search you can find JBGODS Global Headquarters in Chicago. Don’t be confused about our location. We rent an office inside the 200 building on South Wacker Drive. We do jot own the entire building however, we can access use most of the spaces in the building for staff, clients and customers.

Continue Expanding

JBGODS will continue expanding around the globe, getting further and further away from every competitor in every way. It’s important to me that each office functions without me. So, I’ll create satellite offices all around the world and allow my teams to run them.
