Lots of People At The Rink

There were a lot of familiar faces at the Rink on 87th yesterday. Among them was veteran JBSKATER Nick. This is one of those nights where there were lots of people at the Rink. The entire room was packed and the air was hot. It took very little movement to get your shirt and your body absolutely drenched in sweat.

The Rink Has a Little Make Over

There is a new painting on the far wall inside the Rink and it looks great. It seems to give the room more depth. The neon colors and the custom imagery give the room a look the reflects the current customer demographic. Although the wall mural looks really nice, it doesn’t make up for that lumpy skate floor. The Rink probably has the most deceptively dangerous skate floors in the city.

Slow Cyphers At The Rink

We get it. Everything about doing a cypher, we get it, they are fun. Not only are they fun, they are necessary. They build that sense of community that’s needed to keep our skate world thriving. It’s a little token that keeps people coming back. However, during cyphers at tonight’s session there must have been 30+ people in the same area. There was barely any space to skate.

Axels Are Extremely Difficult To Land

Axels are extremely difficult on both the take-off and the landing. Pharaoh has reverted back to incorporating jump practice into his daily exercise routine. “Jumps are important. My whole team needs to jump.” That is Pharaoh’s requirement. He expects every athlete on the JBGODS Skate Team to execute jumps, especially during recreational skate sessions.

Axels are extremely difficult to land and they are extremely scary to attempt.

Don’t feel bad if you don’t get it yet. These are not easy at all. Get yourself a good coach who can already do axels to teach you how to do it. Taking off for an axel on roller skates is very different than attempting it on ice skates. This is no edge to use on roller skates.

Breaking Bad Is Still The Best

Pharaoh has not always been a big fan of Netflix but he has always enjoyed movies. Years after Netflix began airing Breaking Bad, Pharaoh began watching and is on a Breaking Bad binge. He had no idea such a good show existed. A friend of his had even recommended the show to him in 2013 or 2014 but he declined. Pharaoh didn’t watch tv. But, now that he has finally learned what he has been missing all along, he tunes in to the video entertainment regularly.

Surely, you can admit to knowing someone who commits to a Breaking Bad binge here and there.

Pharaoh Shops Protective Gear For Freeway Stunt

Pharaoh shops protective gear like helmets and pads ahead if his planned stunt on the highway.

In preparation for his first public stunt, Pharaoh is looking for all of the necessary protective equipment to keep his body safe in the road. With or without protective gear, this is still a very hazardous and risky ordeal.

Pharaoh Shops Vehicles

Pharaoh is looking for more company equipment. In order to pull off this stunt and others in the future, Pharaoh will need some very specific and very safe equipment. The vehicle that he uses must not have any mechanical or electrical issues.

Pharaoh Shops For Another Circle

Suddenly, Pharaoh shows an interest in country clubs and golf. This has really come out of nowhere. As a result of this new information, he’s looking for like minded people. Just as Pharaoh shops protective gear he shops new people.

Finally Warm Weather Today

We finally have warm weather in Chicago today. You can walk around town and feel the sun on your skin. You don’t even need a jacket today.

It is official, the warm weather is here and the city of Chicago can finally go outside and enjoy the sun.

Today is a great day to take a tour through the town. Rent a bike and ride. Snag a scooter and roll. The boats are on the river providing a short scenic cruise.

Our Mission At JBGODS

In my night time studies I realized that I owe my teams the full transparency of my mission. My teams need to know my mission so that it becomes their mission. I am so pleased and fortunate to have an athletic team, an animation team and an acting team. Without all of them, this would be an impossible task. So, I’m writing a mission statement in response to collaboration with experts and progressions who are helping me to build JBGODS. – Pharaoh

We want everyone to know abput JBSKATE music and its origins in Chicago. From now on there will be branded vehicles riding through the city that show the different skate products and what fans can indulge in.

A Team Of Creative Professionals

We aim to hire and work with professionals who are interested in creating brand new material. Our animation team creates new characters, the music team writes new music and the skate team choreographs new skate routines.
