The JBGODS Rose Award prototype is finally here. It is a gorgeous trophy. We are eager to step on that awards stage and hand that award to skaters who deserve it. Deejay is projected to win the top award, skater of the year.

Awards and Members
Only members can vote for skaters and professionals to be nominated for awards. You can make it happen. Membership is only $150 per year. This year’s members will be the first to see the JBGODS Rose Award prototype.
On May 8th at 6:30 pm the battles will begin at the Dolton outdoor skating rink. Yehoshua is a star athlete on the JBGODS Skate Team lead by the GodKing Pharaoh. This Rising Stars battle includes 8 total opponents competing for a $250 cash prize.
Yehoshua’s attendance alone reinforces his nomination for Best New Skater at the JBGODS Rose Awards coming to Chicago in 2025. Yehoshua will face a seasoned Chicago jb skater and this event is sure to be an exciting one. The JBGODS Skate Team and Pharaoh expect to be on the sidelines of the event in full support of their teammate.
As many may know, Pharaoh has never entered a street battle hosted by underground skating figures. He has never participated and does not plan on participating in any battles. This has caused some controversy in Chicago with jb skaters. People want to know why such a well-known skater with such high status does not compete in underground battles.
Pharaoh and the JBGODS are the most organized company in the world of jb skating. Skaters are interested in associating with the team but the demand for maintaining membership is high. Don’t apply if you are not interested in a lot of hard work.

Chicago, Illinois Apr 20, 2025 (Issuewire.com) – Becoming a voting member at the exclusive JBGODS Rose Awards is highly beneficial to serious skaters. This awards show recognizes skating athletes for their tremendous work and for their annual achievements. We invite skaters to participate in the JBGODS Rose Awards show by nominating skaters for recognition.
Skating is a serious sport full of serious athletes and sports professionals. Now, participants have a brand-new opportunity to recognize their peers with nominations into categories like Best New Skater and the top award, Skater Of The Year. A group of your peers will select award nominees in the skate industry. This includes skate videographers, skate DJs, skate music producers and skating rink owners and managers.
Awards show participants may use their voting authority to nominate one skater for multiple categories. In order for voters to make a nomination, they must be in good standing with the JBGODS company. This means that voting members have paid their annual fee before the start of the voting process. According to the JBGODS Rose Awards rule set for 2025, voters are limited to one vote per category. Some of the nominations for new persons on the skate scene include DJ Sosa for Best New DJ, Yehoshua for Best New Skater and Skate New England for Best New Videographer. The JBSKATER with the most nominations is Deejay. Deejay, from the JBGODS Skate Team, has nominations for Instructor Of The Year, Best Skate Routine, Best Performance and the highly coveted Skater Of The Year.

We now have 20 employees. This is a great thing. Some of them are contractors but they are employees none-the-less. I am grateful for everyone who has decided to work with me and build something great together. We’ve got actors, animators and artists now, the company is growing in many ways.
Growing With More Capabilities
As time goes on, we continue to improve our capabilities. We are collecting more stuff. The company is gaining more music equipment and more transportation. One of the company goals is to provide away for team members to travel to different cities and states in order to attend their sessions.
New Art and Animation Growing
The animation team is doing a perfect job with the latest projects. Those are scheduled for release in October of 2025. Our teams are contributing with their expertise to keep the company growing.
Recently, skateboarders visit the JBGODS website and I’m glad about it. We’re getting a lot of attention from skateboarders. That’s a surprise to me, I don’t know what to do with that. I wonder if they are actually curious about JBSKATING or if they like JBSKATE music. Either way, welcome to the website. If you haven’t heard of our style, JBSKATING, it’s the roller skating style that was created in Chicago. JBSKATING still exists here today and it has spread across the country over the years. I’d like to give a warm welcome to the skateboarders who visit the website.
No Skateboard Gear
Currently, we don’t offer any skateboard material. I don’t know much about it myself or what skateboarders need. We do have music tho, you can use that. There’s also branded gear in the shop that you can check out. Who knows, if we continue to have skateboarders visit the JBGODS website then we may consider incorporating new gear into our store.
The Music Is For Skateboarders Too
We have a very unqiue style of music that is designed for the way that we skate. But, it’s not just for JBSKATERS, it’s for you too. JBGODS has plenty of music available for you to check out and new stuff on the way.
This year, in 2025, I am creating the first Annual JBGODS Rose Awards Show. The JBGODS Rose Awards Show is here to recognize skaters for their work as professional skate athletes. Now, their efforts shall become their achievements.

Jumps are the most impressive techniques in skating. Do more jumps, every time you skate. Aside from them being impressive to see, they are fun to land. Plus, you will burn a lot of calories. Jumps make you win all around. Practice as much as you can as often as you can. Above all else, Pharaoh JBGODS encourages you to do more jumps.
Benefits of Practicing Jumps
Jumps will force you to to focus really closely on your abilities and techniques. Instead of only skating for the fun, you’ll begin skating with a focus on your strengths and weaknesses.
More Control on More Places
Even after you have become a strong skater it is possible to get even stronger. You’ll begin to find those muscles and ligaments that are important for the moves that you eant to do. Then, you’ll begin able to determine which body parts need more work for your overall improvement.
Pharaoh created the JBGODS company and Skate Team based in Chicago. The GodKing Pharaoh creates all original JBSKATE songs under the artist name JBGODS. Deejay, four time nominee for the JBGODS Rose Award, is Point for the JBGODS Skate Team. The JBGODS are comprised of skaters, djs and music producers. Soon there will also be a cartoon, created by the animation team.
