Time for Nashville Food
I got the chance to break fast in Nashville and I knew before I got there that I wanted tacos. The weather was a bit warm and rainy but that did not slow me down. I was on a mission.
Honest experience
I gotta be honest about my experience, 2 parts out of three were uncomfortable. I walked in this tiny little store and there was a man standing in the doorway staring at me. He didn’t even say anything, just looking at me. I think he finally asked, ‘can I help you’ or something odd to that degree. I was trying not to be smart ass, I thought it was obvious that I had come there to eat. So, he took my order, with me standing right there in the doorway. Didn’t offer a menu, didn’t offer more space or time to make a decision, although I didn’t need the time, the space would have been nice.

Part two
That was part one of three. I knew exactly what I wanted before I even saw the name of the restaurant, steak tacos, chips and red salsa. As you can see by the photos, I had fuckin hot cheese dip. And it was hot, to the touch. I’m placing my order with him, in the doorway, and I ask for chips and red salsa. He responds, ‘chips and queso?’. I’m like, no, chips and red salsa. He’s like, ‘it comes with chips and queso’. I’m like, alright gimme the cheese then. I didn’t want it but he insisted, I don’t argue with people preparing my food.
Part three
So, the chips were stale. That’s not a huge problem, you can always get new chips. But I wanted to mention that since he pressed the hot cheese sauce on me that I clearly didn’t want.
Seconds
Would I go back?? Yes. I surely hope the greeting process improves and that he allows customers to choose the sauce that they want.
