The reason that skating works so well as a cardio activity is because it’s possible to go almost nonstop. The fun of the roller skating has a tendency to blind you to the pain of the work. Another reason that skating is so great for cardio is that we exercise for up to 4 hours. Who wants to stay in the gym for four hours. For the first time in a long time, Pharaoh can be seen skating at the Rink on 87th. He has been away from the skate scene in Chicago for a couple of months now. He is noticeably thinner and looks to be in better shape than before. Pharaoh worked up a good sweat tonight at the Rink and put in a good show as he normally does.

Chicago, Illinois Apr 20, 2025 (Issuewire.com) – Becoming a voting member at the exclusive JBGODS Rose Awards is highly beneficial to serious skaters. This awards show recognizes skating athletes for their tremendous work and for their annual achievements. Skaters are invited and encouraged to participate in the JBGODS Rose Awards show by nominating skaters for recognition.
Skating is a serious sport full of serious athletes and sports professionals. Participants now have a brand new opportunity to recognize their peers with nominations into categories like Best New Skater and the top award, Skater Of The Year. Award nominees are selected by a group of their peers in the skate industry. This includes skate videographers, skate DJs, skate music producers and skating rink owners and managers.
Awards show participants may use their voting authority to nominate one skater for multiple categories. In order for voters to make a nomination, they must be in good standing with the JBGODS company. This means that voting members have paid their annual fee before the start of the voting process. According to the JBGODS Rose Awards rule set for 2025, voters are limited to one vote per category. Some of the nominations for new persons on the skate scene include DJ Sosa for Best New DJ, Yehoshua for Best New Skater and Skate New England for Best New Videographer. The JBSKATER with the most nominations is Deejay. Deejay, from the JBGODS Skate Team, has nominations for Instructor Of The Year, Best Skate Routine, Best Performance and the highly coveted Skater Of The Year.
