It’s time to be like Forbes. This is the GodKing Pharaoh speaking to you. I follow many sources in this world. Many individuals and entities are my teachers and none of them know about it. One of my current teachers is Forbes magazine. I’m going to add more physical work to my daily habit and be like them. They seem to drop a new article every hour. That’s just the content that I’m seeing here in Chicago.
We are preparing to settle into Germany and UK. The JBGODS experience is a global one for all to have and enjoy.
There is a lot of structure in the skate world. More and more foundations are coming together to make a complete geography for skaters.
Today is September 11th 2025 and we would like to recognize those who lost their life in the Twin Towers in 2001. We also want to remind the general public that many other people lost their lives follow those events. Many of our fellow citizens suffered with injuries incurred from that day. Many never recovered.
Some very specific things are going to happen at JBGODS Headquarters. First, this is the place where staff is managed. Anyone who applies to work with JBGODS will go to Headquarters for their interview.
International Headquarters
We have established Headquarters for JBGODS in Chicago today and we are immediately looking toward an expansion to France. The company will establish international Headquarters in Paris and become a global JBSKATE organization.
Skaters in Paris, it’s time to invest in some quad skates. A new style is on its way to your neighborhood. Imagine the American skate style, JBSKATING, making its way into the quarters of France. Expanding to France is not the hard part. We need to decide if business will be conducted in English or French.

I don’t feel at ease unless I’m creating something. It doesn’t really matter what it is, I just have to be active. The thing could even be failing from start to finish and I’ll still continue working on it. People need to create and things need to be created. That’s one of the great things about music and animation. An artist can keep creating in the same vein of the same creature for years. With the good, there are some obstacles that get in the way of creating your own thing. The first obstacle is a job. Devoting your time and attention to a 9 – 5 robs you of your two most precious assets, your time and attention. When you are creating something of your own, you have to spend these two assets wisely.
Now, don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with having a job. Having a job can help you to decide what it’s important to you and what isn’t. Let’s say you start on a project that requires at least 3 hours of work per day for you to meet your deadline. However, you use an hour preparing for work, an hour driving to get there, 8 hours working, plus 2 hours of overtime.
Then, when you get home you’ve got to clean and do chores, maybe run to the store and by the time all of that is done you have a limited amount of time left before you have to get some sleep so you can do it all again. Well, this is where you begin to prioritize things. Do you watch a couple episodes of Netflix or do you write a few pages of music? Do you eat the food that you’ve been daydreaming about or do you get a good workout.
Follow A Leader
One of the best problems that an entrepreneur can encounter is not knowing what to do next. Deciding on the next move is the entire purpose of our role. We lead entire groups of people on different levels. From brand new members of our team to those who have been around since the beginning, we lead. It’s an ever revolving responsibility that never ends. Sometimes we forget that we are the sole proprietors of our incorporations. The rest of our company works on our behalf but they aren’t us. They are hired to carry out tasks and make decisions in lieu of our presence but no matter how capable and responsible they may or may not be, the responsibility is still ours. It is always ours.
Study Other Leaders
When you take on the capacity of the leader, it’s ok to cheat from those who have done what you are doing. Once again, you will always find yourself in the position of having to decide what to do next. You are the master navigator for the vessel that is your company. In this same analogy, other navigators have taken the same route. Do what they did. Learn from their successes and study their mistakes. This is what you must do forever when you create your own thing.
Read books. Not only that, read different texts that tell how a person overcame an obstacle and arrived at their destination. I’ve always preferred non-fiction books that tell me about real people with real life circumstances who really lived. After years of studying other people and their problems, I have learned that finding the answer to your question is not the only necessary benefit of this study. You can also attain new ideas and inspiration and as a result, fiction can offer inspiration.

Chicago is a big city that comes with lots of benefits. Living in the loop is probably the best decision that you can make as a Chicago resident. The environment, the options and the quality of people in the area are all better.
Lonely People With Animals
The city is a concrete world. It’s not an environment that’s made for animals, it’s made for us. We need and want concrete to walk on and drive on. Every third person in the city is walking around with a dog. They urinate and relieve themselves right there on the sidewalk where we commute by foot. Some of the mist beautiful restaurants are in the area. Many of them have outdoor patios where you can enjoy the food and the weather. However, while you dine, just feet away a dog stops by and takes a squat. It’s absolutely disgusting.
Plenty Of Traffic
Vehicles are always moving in the area and people are always walking. If you are a social individual and you like interacting with a lot of people then this is your area. There’s an odd thing that happens in this area, people do not look before they step into traffic. Most of the time people don’t even look up from their phones while they are
Expensive Living
There are many luxury apartment buildings in the area and the prices duly reflect their value. With a simple housing search, you can find a single bedroom apartment that costs $2,500. That’s insane. It’s insane to me but some people love it. Here I am complaining about the price of a luxury apartment but I did the same thing in Los Angeles. I rented a nice little single bedroom apartment in the heart of the city and it cost me more than two thousand dollars. At the time, I liked it. Now, I have grown out of that mindset and now I prefer a house every time.
This is going to sound like a completely conflicting statement to the previous paragraph. Here it goes, rent the expensive apartment. If an ounce of your being desires to live in that overpriced studio apartment then go do it. Make mistakes. Find out what you dislike about paying $1,500 for 500 square feet of living space. That’s not all though, when you live the experience yourself you get to decide what you like about it too.

The weather in Chicago is finally hot. The sun is beaming and the city is vibrant. Bikers, motor cycle riders and drag racers are filling up the streets with their menacing activities. Barbecue smoke and aroma fill the air on every corner as the city bursts into summer. If you’re in the city then you can see notices on your phone warning of extreme heat in Chicago.
The Heat Will Open The Hydrants
It doesn’t take long for locals to begin relieving themselves from the high temperatures by opening up fire hydrants. It’s an innocent response that the kids often have to the summer weather but it can also be a small nuisance. For those who don’t know, the Fire Department does not close the fire hydrants in Chicago. From what I’ve heard, they used to, but now the water department takes care of those. So, if the kids open up your hydrants and they leave them open, then you can call the water department to have them turn it off.
Everyone Is Outside Everywhere
If you are the social type then this is the time of year that you may enjoy the most. People are outside congregating on nearly every street and corner. You can see people sitting on their porches and standing on sidewalks. If you need cigarettes or drugs, you don’t have to go far for it. The drug dealers are situated in front of almost every establishment that has constant foot traffic. The are absolutely unrelenting and they work in teams, there’s always someone there. From the time the stores open until they close, the drug dealers are there, marketing their products.

There were a lot of familiar faces at the Rink on 87th yesterday. Among them was veteran JBSKATER Nick. This is one of those nights where there were lots of people at the Rink. The entire room was packed and the air was hot. It took very little movement to get your shirt and your body absolutely drenched in sweat.
The Rink Has a Little Make Over
There is a new painting on the far wall inside the Rink and it looks great. It seems to give the room more depth. The neon colors and the custom imagery give the room a look the reflects the current customer demographic. Although the wall mural looks really nice, it doesn’t make up for that lumpy skate floor. The Rink probably has the most deceptively dangerous skate floors in the city.
Slow Cyphers At The Rink
We get it. Everything about doing a cypher, we get it, they are fun. Not only are they fun, they are necessary. They build that sense of community that’s needed to keep our skate world thriving. It’s a little token that keeps people coming back. However, during cyphers at tonight’s session there must have been 30+ people in the same area. There was barely any space to skate.

If you like to exceed the speed limit in the city, there is a new speed trap that might encourage you to slow yourself down. There are now tactical speed cameras tracking your speed and they are easy to miss. These new cameras are compact and black so they keep a slimmer, darker profile. They aren’t the large, bulky white ones that we are used to, no. It’s easy to fly right past these ones without noticing them. You don’t get that distant warning with that large, bright flash. That feature is gone now. Be careful!! Slow down in the city. – Pharaoh
Drive Slow Anyway
Everyone is always in a rush. It is not at all necessary to drive at 50 miles per hour through residential streets. You’ll get there, relax. Get used to taking your time. This is how you avoid accidents and tickets. We have enough to pay for already. Don’t let these new speed cameras in Chicago cost you even more money.

RedBull responded to showing up to Pharaoh’s freeway stunt. They’ll either provide samples or product sells to the crowd. This is a good deal. We’ll plan the event for about two months away from now so that vendors will have time for preparation. In the meantime, Pharaoh will begin some intense training and communication with the city of Chicago to prepare for this stunt. Stay connected to find out more.
Will Pharaoh be the next JBSKATER to land the axel?? He’s been working on it for so long, yet the results haven’t shown much progress.
It is a tragedy. Assailants shot and killed a man while walking on the sidewalk on Near West Side. According to reports, five men with guns killed him. They got out of a dark colored SUV and fired shots at him. Medical services arrived on the scene and transported the 40 year old victim to Stroger Hospital. Doctors pronounced him dead after arrival. The killing took place on 14th street near the University of Illinois Chicago campus.
People Shot and Killed Regularly
Please do not let the silence fool you, people die on a regular basis in Chicago. It’s a sad reality but it’s true and we should acknowledge this fact. The city is dangerous and there are plenty of people willing to do dangerous things. People get killed or hurt on a regular basis here. Often times the general public doesn’t even hear about it. Keep yourself informed about your area and the trending crimes. This information can keep you out of a bad situation.
Be Vigilant and Be Safe
Criminals often target visitors in the city. They steal cars on a regular basis. Don’t leave your car running. People look for that and they steal cars. This tip is not as grave as the man who was shot and killed on the west side but it’s just as important.
