The Skullcandy Crusher Cup in Salt Lake City

On May 16th, 2025 the Skullcandy Crusher Cup events will kick off in Salt Lake City Utah. This event is a street contest only, taking place in the Kilby Block Party. Skaters must register online to compete in the event.

Pro skaters continue to impress us and make the world of skating what it is. They set the bar and create the standard for what it means to be a professional. These competitions are the battle grounds that determine who shall rise and who shall try again.

Awarded Skaters

We all compete for awards and recognition. The JBGODS Rose Awards offers that recognition with our annual awards show coming in October of 2025. This awards show parallels the Grammys and the Oscars in its value. No other program like it exists for JBSKATERS and other skate professionals.

Does Pharaoh Skate At Any Skate Parties

No, Pharaoh does not skate in any skate parties anymore. He thinks they are crowded and they don’t prioritize JBSKATING. Pharaoh gets exactly what he wants and needs from the regular skate sessions in Chicago. To Pharaoh, skate parties are more expensive session with less space and opportunity to skate. Does Pharaoh Skate In Any Battles

The GodKing Pharaoh does not skate in any battles. He has a very specific agenda for his name and for the JBGODS brand. In order to adhere to that agenda, he does not accept any challenges to skate battles.

What Do You Do When Your Moves Are All…

If you feel like you are doing the same moves over and over again, don’t worry. It’s normal. We are all doing the same moves over and over again. This shouldn’t discourage you. There is also nothing wrong with spending time learning new material. Learning from other skaters will get you out of that some old bag to some degree.

Keep Doing Them

This is a real answer. If you feel like you’re doing the same moves over and over again, keep doing them. Somebody might like to see you do those moves. For your own benefit, those moves are doing something good for you. Keep taking medicine that you can make on your own.

New Combinations

You have to literally plan your new combinations and choreograph them yourself. If you don’t have the time to come up with new combinations and routines, use somebody else’s. We have core combos and core routines that you can use.

JBSKATING Is Making A Tremendous Growth In Chicago

The life of skating style continues to blossom. People like to say that skating is dead in Chicago. Maybe for them it is. For the rest of us, we are still present and still learning new stuff. JBSKATING is making some tremendous growth in Chicago and nation wide.

New Skaters

More people are beginning to learn how to JBSKATE. At some point in the future, learning our craft will be a necessity for pro skaters. As we voyage through the year of 2025 we see the proof of this tremendous growth.

New Cities

As more people begin to spread the word about our skate style, new cities are starting to JBSKATE. More skating rinks are beginning to incorporate JBSKATING into their sessions.

Roller Skating Is A Great Source Of Cardio

Of you want to get a good sweat but you hate going to the gym, then go and roller skate for cardio. You have to move fast and skate hard in order for it to work. The reason that skating works so well as a cardio activity is because it’s possible to go almost nonstop. The fun of the roller skating has a tendency to blind you to the pain of the work. Another reason that skating is so great for cardio is that we exercise for up to 4 hours. Who wants to stay in the gym for four hours. Working out at a high intensity for hours at a time will surely allow you to burn hundreds of calories.

You can burn more than 1,000 calories at a four hour skate session. Stay on the floor during most of the music and you’ll definitely drop a pound if you roller skate for cardio.

Normally, you would see Pharaoh and the JBGODS at Glenwood on Monday and Wednesday nights. Now with its doors closed, you are more likely to see the Gods at the Rink on 87th. The same can be said for many skaters who normally frequent Glenwood. Traffic has started to migrate to the Rink. It seems like 87th is coming back to life.The question is, how long will this last??

With the influx of skater traffic coming into the Rink some things may be destined to change. Opportunity presents itself in many ways. This looks like a great opportunity for the Rink to take a major lead in the skate world.

Tonight Pharaoh Visits the Rink on 87th

For the first time in a long time, Pharaoh visits the Rink on 87th. He has been away from the skate scene in Chicago for a couple of months now. He is noticeably thinner and looks to be in better shape than before. Pharaoh worked up a good sweat tonight at the Rink and put in a good show as he normally does.

Everything changes when Pharaoh visits your skating rink. No matter what city and state you are in, the energy is going to be different when Pharaoh visits.
