Today the weather on May 24th is cool in the shade and slightly warm in the sun. You will still need a jacket or a pullover. There is no wind but it certainly feels as though the temperatures could drop later and that the wind could pick up a bit. – Pharaoh
Maybe we all are just terrified, terrified of life, living, experiencing and failing. Everyone wants to go through life and find out stuff the easy way. There’s no way that everyone can really live expecting no obstacles, challenges and detours along the route. It’s impossible to avoid. But, at some point, the smart person is going to give up. Of course. – Pharaoh
I’ve recently discovered something very important about myself . I had a void that I needed to fill. Temporarily, I could take care of it with a certain habit that I won’t share. The fix was apparent but the problem still eluded me. There was a void that I could not identify. What an interesting situation.
Today brings us cool weather on May 23rd. It is another day in the chilly gray fog of Chicago. Hopefully the mist will soon subside and we’ll get some much more attractive summer weather. – Pharaoh
Waiting For Summer
The month of May is almost finished and the weather is still chilly. What a disappointment. Global warming must really be affecting our climate for cool weather to last so late into the year.
One thing that I’ve learned to count on is the likelihood that you are going to give up on yourself. It doesn’t matter what the goal is, how achievable or unrealistic. My baseline belief in all of the human beings around me is that they will give up. That’s the most sensible thing for them to do. You could suffer immensely just for this thing that you want or you could bring all of the suffrage to an end by quitting. No more of that “believing in people” mentality will continue, especially when people don’t believe in themselves. So, go right ahead, quit. – The GodKing Pharaoh
I have more confidence in me than I have in anyone. Quitting is never an option. Never quit, never give up. I’ve yet to meet someone with my endurance and unwavering determination. They all quit trying sooner or later. Usually, the first time an obstacle arises, they’ll throw in the towel.
The servers were off line for a while last night but we are back now. Stuff happens and keeps happening. Thank you for enjoying JBGODS. We shall now continue with regular programming. – Pharaoh

Sometimes things happen. We don’t control the servers, all we can do is be prepared for the worst.
Everything Backed Up
After that brief little scare, we decided to get more serious about preserving all of our data.
We are in the middle of May and I have to turn my heat on again. The weather has certainly been inconsistent. It’s not a terrible thing but some warm weather through the summer months would be nice.
As soon as the sun comes out, we are outside. This dreary, gray weather is so lame. It just drains our energy.
History Of Bad Winters
Chicago has had some really foul winters over the past ten to fifteen years. We got lucky this past year. There was minimal snow to deal with. We barely had to use our salt in the sidewalks.
RedBull responded to showing up to Pharaoh’s freeway stunt. They’ll either provide samples or product sells to the crowd. This is a good deal. We’ll plan the event for about two months away from now so that vendors will have time for preparation. In the meantime, Pharaoh will begin some intense training and communication with the city of Chicago to prepare for this stunt. Stay connected to find out more.
Will Pharaoh be the next JBSKATER to land the axel?? He’s been working on it for so long, yet the results haven’t shown much progress.
The Gods need a dedicated photographer to capture the best moments at our events. We do not require photographers to have skates or skating skills. However, we do expect interested parties to have their own professional gear. After employment with JBGODS, photographers will receive notice of events and team gatherings. At those events, the photographer will capture candid images of event participants with higher priority on key figures. All those who are interested may send an email to skate@jbgods.com.

With much preparation, practice and study, Pharaoh is working to land the axel jump. Axels are notoriously difficult to do but they are some of the best techniques to see. No athletic skill is more important for a JBGOD to accomplish than speed and jumps. Will Pharaoh be the next JBSKATER to land an axel?? Stay in touch to find out. If you don’t know it by now, one of the hallmarks of being a JBGOD is to skate fast, do jumps and attempt some new stunts.
Some windy weather followed by a slight tornado warning swept through Chicago and the surrounding areas yesterday. However, battles still ensued. JBGODS team skater Yehoshua battled against KenDraco yesterday and took his first competition loss. Yehoshua now has a pro skate record of 0 wins and 1 loss.
Yehoshua did take a loss, and that is ok. His presence alone in the competition only reinforces his nomination for Best New Skater. He’s got about three years of experience as a skater and he is doing quite well. As a JBGOD, the demand is always high for more jumps, more speed and more stunts.
